Company history
Stanley Jackson opened Gainesville Transmission in 1989 on Atlanta hwy in Gainesville GA. Previously ,Stanley had worked at Ammco Transmission as a transmission builder and at a Oldsmobile dealer in Athens GA. In 1996 Stanley decided to move Gainesville Transmission to a new location, on 2620 Walker street , where he built a new and much improved building.
Stanley Jackson is still the owner today and builds all of the transmissions. He has had a lot of uqniue experiences over the years working with severial companys and starting his own.
Gainesville transmission continues to grow each year. In 2005 we bought a new air condition machine and a rotor refacing machine to become a more complete auto repair service. God bless
